Update

I don't know if I can resurrect this  or not.  As I mentioned at the beginning, I'm not much of a writer.
There has been so much happen since I wrote my last episode.  I've had hand problems and am doing less knitting, a little crochet, and a bunch of quilting - still all with different types of needles.  I will try to get here more often so you can share a little of the crazy life in our family.  I recently am no longer employed.  I am looking some, but just taking it easy too.
Right now I have a couple, three or four projects coming along.  I have been knitting off and on to make some booties for one of our local Birth Choice affiliates.  I did 6 pairs while knitting during the Summer Olympics for a Spark People Knitter's challenge.  I have completed two more pairs while we were on vacation - all that time riding along in the car! On the trip, I also finished one of those ruffly scarves out of the "yarn" that my DH says looks like and old hairnet and a pair of wrist warmers.  I also finished a sweater for my SIL.  Again, the hand - and other life obstacles - took about two years.
And I have one and 1/2 of the "Period of Purple Crying" hats for infants.  The idea with those is if parents have a reminder that this is a normal phase, they are less likely to shake the baby.
I'll try to get back to this more often and it will include all of my needling around.  Next time I'll talk about my quilting journey.
TTYL.
